Dedicated in April 2005 as part of the Lewis and Clark Bicentennial celebrations, the overlook features interpretive panels that provide insights into the expedition's experiences in the region. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the Columbia River and surrounding landscapes, reflecting on the challenges and discoveries faced by the explorers over two centuries ago.
