Tri-Cities, Wash. – The Tri-Cities is hosting the National Softball Association (NSA) of Washington’s Ice Breaker Girls Fastpitch Tournament, April 6-8, 2018. This is one of the organization’s largest tournaments, with more than 130 teams from throughout the Pacific Northwest and Canada competing. This event draws more than 5,000 players, coaches and spectators to the Tri-Cities, generating an estimated $1,237,500 in visitor spending for the local economy.
“We’re thrilled to welcome back one of the largest NSA tournaments back to the Tri-Cities region,” said Hector Cruz, Vice President of Visit Tri-Cities. “It is a testament to the quality of our region’s facilities and excellent customer service that the NSA continues to bring its events to our community year after year.”
Play begins on Friday with finals taking place on Sunday. A total of 32 fields in Kennewick, Pasco and Richland will be used for the 400 games scheduled. A complete list of this weekend’s games can be found at www.nsawa.com. For more information, contact Steve Jensen at (425) 308-1024.
