For over 75 years, the Benton Franklin Fair & Rodeo has been the grand finale of summer in the Tri-Cities. Some may even refer to it as the "Best Week of Summer" with exciting kick-off events and five days of fun activities, including a rodeo, carnival and live musical performances, this fair is cherished as a community tradition.

When & Where
The Benton Franklin Fair and Rodeo will be held August 20-24, 2024 at 1500 South Oak St in Kennewick. The festivities kick-off on August 17, 2024 with two special events, the Demolition Derby and Grand Parade.

Celebrate the vibrant spirit of our local community at the Benton County Fair Grand Parade. Join in the parade procession or relax in a lawn chair and enjoy the festivities.
Demolition Derby
Gear up for heart-pounding action at the Benton County Fair's Demolition Derby, where fearless racers go head-to-head, pushing the limits of speed and skill as they collide and crash their way to victory in an adrenaline-fueled spectacle of automotive mayhem.
Horse Heaven Round Up Rodeo
Experience the electrifying Horse Heaven Round-Up, one of the premier rodeos in the Northwest and part of the Big 4 Rodeo Association, featuring exhilarating rodeo performances by top contestants from the U.S. and Canada.

Discover awe-inspiring displays of creativity as you explore the still-life art exhibitions showcasing the talents of local artists while vibrant livestock exhibits bring the beauty and diversity of farm animals to life.
Mutton Bustin’
Don't be sheepish and step right up. Bring your aspiring mutton busters as they wrangle and ride just like their favorite rodeo stars. 15 lucky contestants will compete per night, ages ranging between 4 to 6 years old. Helmets and vests will be provided but full western attire is required!
Hometown Makers Market
Showcasing local entrepreneurs, small businesses, and artisans, the Hometown Makers Market highlights a variety of vendors selling goods. Grab something for yourself, pick up a gift for a friend, or try something new when you visit the Makers Market.
Davis Shows Northwest Carnival
This family-friendly traveling carnival has been owned and operated for over 60 years. Enjoy rides, games, and good concessions throughout the fairgrounds. Get ready to test your limits and adrenaline on rides like the Orbiter, the Zipper, Vertigo, Starship 2000 and more. For those less courageous, fan favorites like the Merry-Go-Round, Ferris Wheel, Funhouse, and Wacky Worm might be more your speed.
