"Celebrate America, Take Two"
We kick-off Maestro Wallin’s final season as Music Director with the same piece that opened his first season in October, 2008 – The Variations on “America” by Charles Ives. Then we proceed along a different path from 16 years ago, featuring works from Argentina (Ginastera’s Estancia), Mexico (Cháves’ Sinfonia India) and close the concert with Copland’s Appalachian Spring.
