The Tri-Cities' calendar is marked by many events, but few rival the scale and impact of Sausage Fest in Richland, WA. Established in 1977, this September tradition has grown to be the region’s third-largest gathering. More than just a weekend of family-friendly fun, this festival stands as the school's primary fundraiser, embodying the spirit of community support that has fueled its growth for over 45 years.

Sausage Fest 2024 takes place at Christ the King School, located at 1111 Stevens Dr, Richland, WA.
Date & Time
Sausage Fest always takes place on the third weekend of September, bringing the community together for two days of excitement and entertainment. This year’s festival is on:
- Friday, September 20, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
Admission
Entry to Sausage Fest 2024 is FREE for all! As a fundraiser, the festival offers a variety of delicious food, refreshing beverages, and fun-filled games for purchase throughout the event. Your participation directly supports the school.

- Bier Garten – A 21+ beer garden featuring a selection of draft beers and live music performances.
- Food Booths – Savor flavorful sausages, traditional bierrocks (hand pies filled with meat, onions and spices), warm pretzels, funnel cakes, and other fair favorites.
- Kid-Friendly Activities – Children of all ages will love the games, including fish pond, frisbee golf, ring toss, bingo, and arts and crafts.
- Live Performances – Artists take the stage showcasing local talent, featuring dancers, theater groups, cheerleaders, and musicians.
- Middle School Dance – For $10, middle schoolers can attend an exclusive dance (school ID required).
