B Reactor Museum Association (BRMA)
Overview
B Reactor Museum Association was formed in 1990 to begin the effort to preserve the world's first large scale nuclear reactor and make it open to public access. We have made models videos and documents to explain its construction and operation. Now that B is part of the Manhattan Project National Historical Park our mission is expanded to explain other facilities and processes at Hanford from the wartime era to its legacies of long term effects and the technologies to deal with them. We aim to enhance the National Park visitor experience by providing new interpretive materials and souvenirs.
