Recurring Weekly & Monthly Events
Pasco Fairchild Cinema offers sensory-friendly movie screenings, featuring reduced volume and lighting, and the freedom to move around. Stay updated on screening times through their Facebook page.
Experience a quieter and more inclusive carousel ride on the first Saturday of every month from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Gesa Carousel of Dreams. They do not play any music, have announcements, ring the bell, or honk the horn. Designed for sensory-sensitive visitors, these Saturdays also include breakfast, crafts, activities, and free carousel rides.
Chuck E. Cheese in Kennewick opens its doors on the first Sunday of every month from 9:00-11:00 AM for a sensory-friendly experience. Enjoy a less crowded and more relaxed atmosphere with dimmed lighting and a trained and caring staff.
Annual Events
In April, don’t miss the educational and interactive event, Our Autism Journey - Better Together Event and Ceremonial Walk. It will include sensory-friendly activities for all ages held at the Benton County Fair Grounds in Kennewick, WA from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm with the ceremonial walk beginning at 12:30 pm.
Experience the thrill of fishing at Columbia Park during the yearly event, Fishing Day, organized by The Arc of Tri-Cities. The event will be held Friday, April 19th from 1:30 - 3:30 PM or 4:00 to 6:00 PM and is open to individuals with sensory sensitivities and special needs.
