Pasco’s picturesque landscape and inviting food scene offer unlimited opportunities for exploration, with a myriad of hiking and biking pathways, an 18-hole public golf course, and savory and sweet bites—many of which reflect Pasco’s strong Hispanic population.
The recreational activities in Pasco are limitless with golf courses, bicycle and jogging paths, baseball and soccer fields — Pasco is an outdoor enthusiast’s dream! Pasco has twenty soccer fields, eight softball fields, one professional minor league baseball stadium (home to the Tri-City Dust Devils), seven baseball fields, an outdoor 50 meter pool with waterslides and splash pool and 15 miles of pathway overlooking the majestic Columbia River. The HAPO Center, the areas multi-purpose agriculture trade center and conference facility is located adjacent to the Pasco Sports Complex.
In 1805, Lewis and Clark camped at the confluence of the Columbia and Snake rivers in an area that 200 years later is called Sacajawea State Park in honor of their Native American guide. Sacajawea State Park is host to the Maya Lin Confluence Project featuring seven basalt story circles featuring interpretive artwork etched into the sides of each circle. Pasco isn’t your average vacation destination — you’ll find an eclectic mix of urban and farm culture and there’s always an event or outdoor activity to keep your inner child entertained.
